The
world of Re-enactment is growing. With more and more groups coming together to recreate
many eras of history, there is an increasing demand for historical clothing. We at
Champagne & Dunbar have been involved in re-enactment for many years and know how
difficult it is sometimes to obtain the clothing for your period. Many groups have their
own sources for costume but due to high demand have to wait for it. If something special
is required then it may not be available at all and you have to look elsewhere. Part of
the enjoyment of re-enactment is making your own costume or clothing , but not everyone
has these skills and thats where we come in. Re-enactment covers a wide spectrum of
quality requirements, from just looking the part to being absolutely historically accurate
i.e. living history standard. We are able to produce quality clothing to order for the
discerning re-enactor to his or her requirements whether it be the costume for a Medieval
/ Renaissance Court or for a liveried foot soldier of the 1400's.
